NoiPa Service Unavailable: Here’s What Changes from Monday, June 17th
Changes Coming to NoiPa Platform Access
Starting from 6:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2024, the NoiPa service will not be available due to upcoming changes.
Indeed, there will be a change in the access modality to the NoiPa platform starting from Monday, June 17.
About NoiPa Platform
The platform, developed by the Department of General Personnel Administration Services (Dag) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (Mef), is used for managing the Public Administration personnel.
Teachers are among the primary users of the NoiPa platform, especially substitute teachers who need to check for any special paycheck issuances.
Details of Service Suspension
The NoiPa service will not be available for both restricted and public access areas, where information and news are usually published.
NoiPa Service Unavailable until June 17: What’s Changing
The NoiPa platform itself has communicated that the service will be unavailable until June 17.
Trying to access the website via Google will display a clear message about the temporary unavailability of all operations.
The message on the white screen reads:
“The portal services are temporarily unavailable.
In order to carry out technical interventions to enhance the security levels of the NoiPA System, the Portal and App services are temporarily disabled.
The service will be available again on Monday, June 17 starting from 07:00.
Thank you for your cooperation.”
Security Upgrade and Changes in Access
Access modality is changing to enhance security levels, as stated in the message.
Starting from June 17, to access the restricted area of the platform and view, for instance, the NoiPa payslip, users will have to exclusively use Spid, Cie, and Cns, meaning that it will no longer be possible to authenticate using a tax code and password.
Additionally, from June 17 onwards, the OTP code required for using device services will be generated through the NoiPa App and no longer via SMS, so it is advisable to have the application installed on your phone.
Accessing Payslips and Special Pay Issuances
From Tuesday, June 18, teachers will be able to view the current payslip.
Once the service, currently unavailable, is restored by Monday, June 17, teachers can access the details of their paycheck.
This will apply to teachers with permanent or annual fixed-term contracts (ending on June 30 or August 31, 2024) who will receive their pay on Friday, June 21, earlier than the usual 23rd, which falls on a Sunday this month.
On June 18, NoiPa should also make visible the special issuance for short or occasional school substitutions, and school staff can check its presence by accessing the restricted area of the platform.
Only authorized instalments requested by 2:00 PM will be included in the issuance.
The payment due date is likely to be set for the end of the month, and most probably on Friday, June 28, 2024.
The special issuance also applies to Firefighters volunteers.
