The world's largest cocoa bean producers, Ivory Coast and Ghana, have been hit by unfavorable weather conditions and black pod disease, resulting in yield declines compared to previous years.
Since the start of the season, arrivals in Ivorian and Ghanaian ports have decreased by 28% and 35% compared to the same period last season.
