Admission to High School Graduation Exam 2024: Guidelines and Regulations
Rules and Requirements for the Maturity Exam 2024
Have you ever wondered what the rules are to access the Maturity Exam 2024? This is one of the most frequent questions that final year students ask themselves.
As April comes to an end, there are less than two months left until the State exam, and 5th-year students are already immersed in revising all subjects to avoid being unprepared for the oral part of the maturity exam.
Admission Requirements for Maturity Exam 2024
To be admitted to the State Exam, candidates must meet several requirements.
First of all, the Class Council is in charge of deciding who can take the exam.
Students must have a final grade in each subject not lower than 6, with some exceptions based on the Council’s evaluation.
Additionally, a conduct grade not lower than 6 is required, along with attending at least three-quarters of the total hours and participating in the Invalsi tests 2024 held between March 1st and 27th.
Moreover, students must have completed the hours of “school-work alternation.” The Class Council also plays a crucial role in calculating the “admission grade,” which includes school credits from the last three years, the written exam scores, and the oral exam.
These credits are assigned based on the students’ average grades.
The Student’s Curriculum
The student’s Curriculum, introduced by Law 107 of 2015, is a crucial document that summarizes the student’s profile and must be attached to the Diploma obtained after the exam.
This document not only helps students choose their future career path but also guides the oral commission during the maturity exam.
The Curriculum includes information about the student’s academic path, certifications earned, and extracurricular activities.
It is divided into three key sections, with different responsibilities for the school administration, students, and teachers.
Therefore, the Class Council plays a fundamental role in the admission process, as it can allow students with grades below 6 to access the exam and influences the student’s oral exam through the Curriculum.
Now that you know all the rules and requirements, we wish good luck to all students preparing for the State Exam 2024!
