Through the Mini Call for Support, educators have the opportunity to apply for positions in provinces other than their registered area in GPS, based on a list issued by the Ministry detailing the remaining vacancies following regular appointments.
Eligibility and Deadlines
The Mini Call for Support 2024 applications will be accepted starting August 23, 2024, at 14:00, with the deadline set for August 26, 2024, at 13:59.
Eligible applicants include support teachers in the first tier of GPS who:
- Have not been assigned a temporary position in their registered province.
- Have not renounced any other assignments, particularly if they did not express availability for the entire province during their GPS registration.
According to the Ministry, applicants in the first tier of GPS for support can submit applications for any qualifying province or provinces (as long as they are within the same region), to participate in the extraordinary recruitment procedure for support roles, governed by Ministerial Decree no.
111 of 2024.
Failure to submit the application for the Mini Call means renouncing participation in the procedure.
How to Apply for the Mini Call for Support 2024
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the “Polis – Istanze Online” platform.
This digital approach is familiar to teachers, as this summer marks their third online application process to secure positions for September.
In June, they applied for GPS updates, followed by an August application for both permanent placement from the first tier GPS and temporary substitutes using 150 preferences.
To access the application, teachers will need one of the following credentials:
- SPID (Public Digital Identity System)
- CIE (Electronic Identity Card)
- eIDAS (Identification, Authentication and Trust Services)
- Valid credentials from the Ministry’s secure area
- CNS (National Service Card)
Once the application process starts, regional educational offices will publish the list of vacant positions for each province, enabling teachers to indicate their preferred provinces within the same region when applying for the Mini Call.
