Bonus 9,600 euros without ISEE for these families, for the application you need to hurry

Last month to apply for the bonus granted to families of separated, divorced or non-cohabiting parents with which any portion of child maintenance not paid by the parent obliged by the court is reimbursed.
A bonus that was expected for some time but which only received the green light in recent weeks, allowing the application to be sent to interested parents.
But we need to hurry, as the deadline is set for March 31st.
There are therefore only a few weeks left to collect the documentation relating to the bonus and not lose the right to a contribution which in the best case scenario can reach 9,600 euros.
What is the 9,600 euro bonus without ISEE for families of separated or divorced parents? It was the legislative decree n.
41 of 22 March 2021 to establish the Fund to protect parents who during the Covid period did not receive all, or part, of the maintenance allowance due in favor of their children.
However, to find out the criteria and methods for disbursement of the bonus we had to wait for another year and a half given that the decree from the President of the Council of Ministers arrived on 23 August 2022.
Since then silence, with the bonus for unemployed parents that seemed to have ended up forgotten.
Until the INPS, somewhat surprisingly, opened the deadline for sending applications on 12 February, with a full 2 years delay compared to the refundable period.
The bonus in question, in fact, allows you to recover any maintenance allowance not paid during the period in which the state of epidemiological emergency from Covid-19 was proclaimed, therefore between 8 March 2020 and 31 March 2022.
In detail, as anticipated, it is possible to recover up to a maximum of 800 euros per month, up to a limit of 12 monthly payments.
In the best case scenario, then.
9,600 euros.
Who is entitled to the bonus The parent who in the aforementioned period – therefore between 8 March 2020 and 31 March 2022 – has not received all or part of the maintenance allowance due to non-compliance of the other parent (ex spouse or ex-partner).
As mentioned, the ISEE is not needed, however both the parent who applies and the one who has not paid the maintenance allowance must meet certain requirements.
First of all, the parent who intends to receive the bonus: must be living with the severely disabled minor or adult child receiving the maintenance allowance; must have an Irpef income not exceeding 8,174 euros in the years to which the unreceived monthly payments refer.
For the parent obliged to pay the maintenance allowance who has therefore not fulfilled his duty, however, at least one of the following conditions must exist: cessation, reduction or suspension of work activity starting from 8 March 2020 for a duration of at least 90 days; alternatively, it must have undergone a reduction of at least 30% compared to what was received in 2019.
How to apply and documents As anticipated, the deadline for the application is set at 31 March 2024.
The service to be used is available in the area MyInps staff, precisely in the "Access point to non-pension benefits" section indicated as "Contribution for separated or divorced parents to guarantee the continuity of the payment of maintenance allowance".
Here those who fill out the application will have to indicate, taking responsibility for what has been declared, the amount of maintenance allowance not received, as well as certifying the causal link between the non-compliance and the epidemiological emergency as a determining factor for the termination, the reduction or the suspension of the work activity of the obligated spouse.
Furthermore, when sending the application, the documentation certifying the right to maintenance allowance must be attached, such as the judge's order.
If the allowance is due to a disabled adult child, certification of the disability is also required (but only if certified before 2010).
