Important News About Psychologist Bonus
With the message 2584 dated July 11, 2024, important updates regarding the psychologist bonus have been provided.
The distribution of the benefit was awaiting the separate rankings by Region and Autonomous Provinces of residence.
These rankings have been published based on the values of the Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (Isee), and now beneficiaries have 270 days (starting from July 11) to spend the allocated contribution.
Let’s see how to check if you are eligible.
The inquiry process for applications submitted by May 31, 2024, has been completed, and the National Social Security Institute (INPS) informs the interested parties through the aforementioned message that the rankings for the payment of the psychologist bonus have been drafted.
The psychologist bonus consists of a financial aid to be provided to individuals in economic distress (allocated based on the Isee value) who are in need of psychotherapy sessions for anxiety, depression, stress, or psychological vulnerability.
The rankings have been compiled not only based on the Isee situation (from lowest to highest) but also considering the order of submission of the application.
How to Check if You Are Eligible for the Contribution?
The rankings compiled by the INPS are not public, and every potential beneficiary can verify whether their application has been accepted or not by accessing the INPS website with Spid, Cie, or Cns credentials and typing “psychologist bonus” in the search field.
At this point, it is necessary to select “Contribution to support expenses related to psychotherapy sessions – Psychologist Bonus,” and on the resulting page, you can view:
– Information sheet about the measure
– Tutorials for citizens and professionals
– Access link to the service (marked by a blue box where it reads “Use the service”)
For those who have not done so before, it is necessary to authenticate before viewing the outcome of the request.
In case of an accepted application, the citizen can also view the recognized contribution and the unique code necessary to use it in psychotherapy sessions.
By clicking on “Use the service,” you will be redirected to a page called “Access Point for Non-Pension Benefits,” where several options are available:
– Home
– My data
– My requests
– Change profile
By selecting “My requests,” the site will display the list of submitted applications showing the latest update, the status of the application, and the recognized contribution, which can range from 500 to 1,500 euros based on the Isee.
INPS specifies in the message that:
“Applications with ISEE containing omissions and/or discrepancies not rectified within the deadlines indicated in message no.
2133 of June 5, 2024, have been deemed inadmissible and, therefore, not taken into account for the drafting of the rankings.”
