Italian Stock Exchange to Host Zero One Hundred Conference Mediterranean

The Italian Stock Exchange is gearing up to host the Zero One Hundred Conference Mediterranean, an international event focused on private capital.
This conference aims to connect key players in both local and global investment funds with the business community.
This year’s edition is scheduled to take place from October 28 to 30 at Milan’s Palazzo Mezzanotte.

Organized by Zero One Hundred Conferences in partnership with the Municipality of Milan and Milano&Partners, the initiative seeks to reinforce the city’s role as an investment hub for Europe and the Mediterranean.
Prominent participants include high-profile institutional investors such as the European Investment Fund and Allianz, alongside many others in the sector, bringing significant attention and resources to Italy’s growing financial ecosystem.

Milano: The Capital of Innovation and Investment

In recent years, Milan has solidified its position as a reference point for innovation and investment in Europe, attracting increasing global interest.

As noted by Alessia Cappello, the City of Milan’s Economic Development Assessor, “Milan is emerging as a leading innovation hub in Italy, benefiting from a mature ecosystem and a skilled workforce that attract significant investments, positioning the city at the forefront of the European venture capital market.”

“With over 15,000 financial companies, nearly 2,600 startups, and a constantly evolving financial ecosystem, Milan is a European hotspot for both investors and innovators,” explained Fiorenza Lipparini, General Director of Milano & Partners.
“This inaugural edition of 0100 aims to further enhance our efforts in creating new opportunities for funding and investment, making our ecosystem even more competitive and visible internationally.”

“Borsa Italiana provides companies with a vital opportunity to finance growth, enhance visibility, and attract talent effectively,” stated Claudia Parzani, President of Borsa Italiana.
“The capital market plays a crucial role in supporting the development of Italian businesses, significantly contributing to employment and economic progress.
Today, Borsa Italiana is part of Euronext, the leading pan-European market infrastructure connecting the economies of seven European countries to the capital markets.”

Networking Opportunities and Investor Relations

Elena Vasco, General Secretary of the Milan Chamber of Commerce, emphasized that Milan is an ideal environment for business development, highlighting its competitive advantages, such as a qualified workforce and an active innovation ecosystem involving eight universities and numerous certified incubators.

Mauro Marconi, Commercial Director of Zero One Hundred Conferences, stated, “Networking is essential for investors—not only to raise funds but to forge long-term relationships.
We hope Milan becomes a key point on the global finance map for Southern European investors and beyond.”

Conference Program Overview

The conference agenda will feature several panels, including discussions on private equity and venture capital in Europe and the Mediterranean, deep tech VC investments, and political risk impacts on capital allocation.

Notable speakers include Andrea Di Camillo from Pagina 101 and Fiorenza Lipparini from Milano & Partners, addressing strategies for attracting global investors and trends in technology sectors.

The conference will take place at the historic Palazzo Mezzanotte, a symbol of Italian finance.
