Inclusion Allowance: Suspended in May for Those Who Have Not Received the SMS
Suspension of Inclusion Allowance Payments: What You Need to Know
In April, the suspension of payments was supposed to kick in for recipients of the Inclusion Allowance who, having not received the convocation SMS, had not yet appeared at the social services offices for the introductory meeting and intake process.
However, the Ministry of Labor decided to postpone the deadline to May.
Deadline for Meeting Social Services
For those who applied between December 18 and 31, the deadline to mark on the calendar was the last week of April.
Nonetheless, the Ministry of Labor, considering the initial challenges, established a different calculation for applications submitted by February 29.
The reference date became the submission of the Adi applications on the Gepi platform on January 26, 2024, instead of the Pad subscription.
For applications starting from March 1, 2024, the 120-day deadline for the convocation and subsequent appointment remains calculated from the Pad signature.
Deadline for Applicants
For all applications submitted by January 26, the deadline to consider is May 25, 2024.
Families who requested the Inclusion Allowance by January 26 and have not been taken in charge by the social services of their municipality by May 25 risk payment suspension.
Considering that the deadline coincides with INPS evaluations for the next payment, the exact suspension timing remains uncertain.
To avoid risks, it’s advisable to promptly visit social services.
Suspension for Non-Receipt of Message
Typically, municipal social services summon Inclusion Allowance beneficiaries within 120 days.
Those who receive the convocation SMS must attend; failure to do so without justified reasons leads to benefit loss.
Despite not receiving the message, the mandatory visit to social services is required with or without an appointment.
Ignorance of the obligation may result in allowance suspension.
Notification of Suspension
INPS sends a reminder, either via SMS or email through contact details provided during the digital activation pact signing, about the approaching deadline for the multidimensional assessment at social services.
Upon receiving this message, prompt action to inquire about the procedure is recommended to avoid payment suspension.
