Altroconsumo compiled a list of the best natural bottled waters in terms of quality and price ratio.
Leading the list is Smeraldina Monti di Deu at 0.39 euros per liter, followed by Rocchetta at 0.33 euros per liter and Recoaro at 0.20 euros per liter.
Smeraldina, from a source in Tempio Pausania, was awarded the best-bottled water in the world in 2019.
Gambero Rosso Ranking for Bottled Water
Gambero Rosso conducted blind tests on a sample of 56 still and naturally sparkling waters available in supermarkets.
Best Natural Bottled Waters
San Bernardo topped the list for its lightness and harmony, followed by Maniva and San Benedetto.
San Bernardo, sourced from the Maritime Alps, stands out for its low fixed residue and balanced mineral content, making it ideal for daily consumption.
Best Natural Sparkling Waters
Clavdia and Egeria ranked highest for their effervescence and taste.
Clavdia is known for its fine bubbles and freshness, while Egeria offers a balance between effervescence and flavor, suitable for both meals and tastings.
