Negotiations for the renewal of contracts in the Public Administration are making progress.
The State’s representative Agency, Aran, has recently unveiled the table disclosing the figures for salary increases that could be granted thanks to the available resources.
One of the most extensive sectors in the Public Administration is the Central Functions, involving public employees working in ministries, tax agencies, and non-economic public entities such as Inps and Inail.
Significant steps have been taken in the negotiations, showing average gross amounts for each of the four professional areas:
– EP: €193.90
– Officials: €141.00
– Assistants: €116.10
– Operators: €110.40
Despite these figures, which do not entirely satisfy the unions’ expectations, they request additional resources in the upcoming Budget Law to address the discrepancy.
With the current resources, an average gross increase of €30 per month is feasible for additional compensations.
For Defense and Security sector negotiations, the expected salary increases for the various branches have already been disclosed:
– Italian Army: €2,360
– Guardia di Finanza: €2,666.15
– Air Force: €2,640.60
– Carabinieri: €2,607.05
– Navy: €2,602.81
– State Police: €2,580.42
– Prison Police: €2,456.86
Despite these early figures, negotiations are challenging.
Unions are advocating for a different allocation of resources based on total staff numbers instead of average income.
Distributing resources between fixed and additional remuneration is also under debate.
Regarding school contracts, Education Minister Valditara aims to reach an agreement by year-end.
The disclosed fund of €3 billion will lead to an increase of approximately 5.78%, corresponding to an average of €170 in gross salary.
Unions find these resources insufficient to offset the purchasing power loss, hoping for further allocations in the 2025 Budget Law.
In the Healthcare sector, recent announcements by Aran revealed a budget of €1.641 billion, resulting in a 6.32% average gross increase of €158 per month for 13 salaries.
Unions, like Fials’ General Secretary Giuseppe Carbone, are dissatisfied with the available funds and request additional resources in the 2025 Budget Law to address the situation.
