However, we can say that generally a Police officer at the beginning of his career earns around 1,200-1,300 euros net, while for an inspector it starts from 1,500 euros and then exceeds 2,000 euros net per month once he has reached a certain length of service.

Today a State Police agent has a salary (excluding overtime and other fringe benefits) of just over 19 thousand euros a year (calculated on 12 monthly payments).
