In order to know the actual costs of summer time on the bill, the estimates of Terna, a company indirectly controlled by the Ministry of the Treasury which manages the electricity transmission network, are useful.
According to the company, last year from March 26 to October 28, 2023, during summer time, Italy saved 370 million kWh of electricity consumption, equal to a saving of 90 million euros.
