Maturity Exam 2025: Official Dates and Schedule
The Ministry of Education has announced the official date for the first test of the Maturity Exam 2025, which will be the Italian exam for all graduating students next academic year.
According to the ministerial ordinance published on June 20, 2024, the Maturity Exam 2025 will commence on June 18, 2025, with the first written test in Italian.
Exam Schedule
The first written test will take place nationwide on June 18, 2025, starting at 8:30 am.
The second test, focused on the specific area of study, is scheduled for the following day, June 19, 2025.
As for the oral exams, each school will establish an internal schedule starting the week after the written tests to allow time for grading.
Supplementary Exam
The supplementary written test is set for July 2, 2025, starting at 8:30 am, as communicated by the Ministry of Education.
Middle School State Exams
Additionally, the Ministry announced that middle school state exams for the 2024/2025 academic year will take place between the end of classes and June 30, 2025, with specific dates determined by examination boards at each school.
National Holidays and School Calendar
The Ministry also outlined the national holidays for the 2024/2025 academic year, including Sundays, All Saints’ Day, Immaculate Conception, Christmas, St.
Stephen’s Day, New Year’s Day, Epiphany, Easter Monday, Anniversary of the Liberation, Labor Day, Republic Day, and the feast of the Patron Saint.
While regions have autonomy in setting the school calendar, the Ministry provided official holiday dates to ensure consistency across the country.
