The countdown has begun for the most anticipated event of the year in Italy – and beyond – for fans of comics, cosplay, and video games.
The Lucca Comics & Games is an international festival dedicated to comics, animation, games, video games, TV series, cosplay, fantasy literature, and science fiction, rooted in the International Comics Show established in 1966.
Held annually in Lucca during the autumn, this festival enjoys significant international relevance, being recognized as the preeminent comic festival in Europe and the second worldwide, following Tokyo’s Comiket (source: Wikipedia).
Each year, Lucca Comics attracts hundreds of exhibitors from around the globe and hundreds of thousands of attendees, including vibrant communities of cosplayers who don costumes to embody their favorite characters from films, comics, and video games.
