Vitamin B – a name that defines a group of molecules including thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pyridoxine, folic acid – and magnesium, contained in the fruit in question, help to calm the nervous system in combination with tryptophan – an amino acid that body converts into serotonin – better known as the 'happiness hormone', they improve mood giving us a feeling of greater well-being.
Other properties of the Banana The surprises don't end here, the banana is in fact rich in many other substances that contribute to our psychophysical well-being, let's see some of them: Potassium: electrolyte mineral of which the banana is very rich, it reduces the levels of harmful free radicals, thus preventing damage to the brain, also useful for strengthening the mind and therefore learning.
This is demonstrated by research carried out by the Twickenham school, Middlesex, which examined around 200 students, giving them bananas for breakfast and lunch, with the aim of increasing the potential of their brain and it was found that, after the 'treatment ', the pupils were more receptive and attentive.

Iron: bananas have a good quantity of it, it stimulates the production of hemoglobin, thus improving the condition of those suffering from anemia.
Fibers: help restore the correct functioning of the intestine by improving intestinal transit, i.e.
the regularity with which we are able to expel solid stools.
This fruit also has an anti-acidifying effect, therefore useful for those suffering from stomach acidity and ulcers.
