If there’s one common complaint among smartphone users, it’s definitely the slowness of the device, more or less problematic, even just compared to the early days.
This is normal because the installed applications and their updates are becoming more numerous, requiring the device many resources that affect its speed.
Part of this process is inevitable, as it also depends on the normal wear and tear of the electronic components, but for the rest, there are some solutions.
In addition to uninstalling unnecessary applications and restarting the smartphone, there is a useful trick to make an Android phone faster without too many sacrifices.
Here’s what you need to do.
Enabling developer options does not use the smartphone as automatically set up, but it is possible to intervene on all aspects of its operation.
For example, regarding the connection, audio playback, battery consumption, and animation speed.
For this reason, many users, after unwittingly making changes, worry when they notice seemingly anomalous behaviors of the smartphone.
Let’s remember that any changes made can be reverted to the default settings, and there is no possible harm to the smartphone’s operation.
In this guide, we will see the necessary steps to make an Android phone faster, in order to avoid any compromising of the general operation of the smartphone.
Despite appearances, the procedure is really within everyone’s reach, being part of one of the developer options that does not require particular computer knowledge.
Let’s see what the necessary steps are.
To enable developer options, you need to get the build number, a code that identifies the smartphone and is reported on the “phone information” page, which can be accessed, depending on the smartphone, directly from the settings or from the “system” page of the latter.
Once identified, under the “build number” or “Android version” wording, to enable developer options, you simply have to click it exactly 7 times, entering the smartphone’s unlock code when prompted to validate the modification.
At this point, if the steps have been followed correctly, the confirmation “now you are a developer” appears.
Once the developer mode is activated, speeding up the phone by increasing animation speed is really a piece of cake.
No complicated steps are needed, as each device has a dedicated section for customizing animations, not entirely visible to those who leave the smartphone in default mode.
Here’s the short path to find the setting: settings; system; animation.
From the animation section, it will be possible to intervene on three different settings:
To increase the speed, just click on each of these wordings and then move the indicator from the default level 1x to lower it to 0.5x or zero it out.
Obviously, the lower the scale number, the faster the animations will be, ensuring a smoother and faster operation of the smartphone.
The changes made will be immediately visible in all scrolling, zooming, and shrinking actions that Android devices normally offer in their interface.
