Iran will attack Israel by this weekend, with the war which according to the CIA could soon spread from the Holy Land to Tehran, thus inflaming the entire Middle East which has long been incandescent.
Yesterday the United States warned the Jewish State that Iran will launch an attack on Israel within 48 hours, all in response to the Israeli missiles which in recent days killed the senior commander of the Pasdaran Mohammed Reza Zahedi in Damascus together to other officers and advisors of the Guardians of the Revolution.
The Arabic newspaper Al Mayadeen also added the details of how, according to the US, Iran's attack on Israel will take place: drones combined with cruise missiles to hit strategic targets in Tel Aviv.
Would such an action mean an extension of the war? Probably, but not necessarily.
Tehran's could be a demonstration of strength, a way to show its usual enemy what it is capable of and, at the same time, also send a signal to Washington.
At the same time, however, an Iranian attack could mark a point of no return for the Middle East, with Israel and the United States long ready for an escalation to give rise to a regional war that could wipe out all their enemies in one fell swoop.

In Israel, a state of maximum alert has been issued for fear of an attack in the next few hours by Iran, with the CIA's warning not appearing to have gone unheeded.
Israel has thus decided to recall the reservists and suspend their leave as in the first days of the war with Hamas, with the IDF reportedly preparing for different scenarios.
The Jewish state's concerns would not be limited to military action by Iran, but also possible attacks by Hezbollah or pro-Iranian militias located in Syria and Iraq.
“In the last six months we have been involved in a war on multiple fronts – declared the spokesman of the Israel Defense Forces, Daniel Hagari -.
We are on maximum alert in all fields.
We observe threats and thwart them continuously, on multiple fronts, and we have a high level of preparedness for defense and attack.” The first signs of a possible attack by Iran could be malfunctions in GPS recorded in several Israeli cities, with Tel Aviv saying it was ready for "any possible threat".
While in Europe there is great apprehension about the possible consequences of the war in Ukraine, rumors immediately follow one another from the Middle East of a probable imminent world conflict: pages of history books which have fortunately remained blank for decades, now seem to be on the verge to be tragically filled.
