Despite a lively transfer window, Juventus fans are dreaming of Jadon Sancho’s arrival in Turin.
The English winger, currently owned by Manchester United but who showcased his talent at Borussia Dortmund, is the object of their desires.

However, there is a significant hurdle to overcome – Jadon Sancho earns too much for Juventus.
This complicates the deal, although Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli seems to have found a way to make the transfer happen.

Jadon Sancho’s Earnings and Market Value

Jadon Sancho, born in 2000 (just turned 24 in January), is tied to Manchester United with a contract worth £300,000 per week, around £15.6 million per year, expiring on June 30, 2026.
In euros, this amounts to approximately €18 million per season, far exceeding Juventus’ wage structure.

Even Borussia Dortmund found his terms unattainable, leading to a loan deal with the club.
Despite high expectations upon his arrival at Manchester United, Sancho’s performance has somewhat tempered the initial hype.

The Red Devils initially paid €85 million for him, with his market value peaking at €130 million.
After a lukewarm first season with little impact, his stint at Manchester United deteriorated further under coach Erik ten Hag, resulting in a loan return to Borussia Dortmund, where he partly regained his form and value.

Is Jadon Sancho to Juventus Feasible?

A permanent move to Juventus for Jadon Sancho is currently unrealistic, given the substantial pay cut he would need to accept.
Therefore, a loan deal is being explored, possibly leading to a permanent transfer in 2025, when his contract with Manchester United is near expiry.

While Juventus is navigating the terms, Erik ten Hag’s contract renewal at Manchester United eliminates any chance of Sancho returning there.
Other clubs do not seem to be pursuing the player, positioning Juventus favorably.

Reportedly, Juventus has proposed a loan with an option to buy set between €35-40 million, with Manchester United covering a significant portion of Sancho’s wages (at least 40%).
This operation could be funded by selling Federico Chiesa to Roma, with Juventus seeking €20 million (plus bonuses) for the player.
