The Ministry of Labour, with a note released on July 16th, confirmed that some families will not receive the Inclusion Allowance payment in July.
The document outlines guidelines for Inclusion Allowance holders, clarifying procedures in cases of benefit lapse or suspension.
It also addresses key aspects like reassessment requests and conditions exempting certain family members from the 90-day monitoring requirement.
One crucial point highlighted in the document is regarding ensuring comprehensive information on new provisions for implementing the Inclusion Allowance.
It summarizes essential guidelines on benefit lapse or suspension due to various reasons.
If social services notify a beneficiary about an appointment and they fail to attend without a valid reason, the benefit will be withdrawn.
However, beneficiaries must proactively approach social services within 120 days of digitally activating the agreement (usually coinciding with the application submission) or, for applications submitted by February 29, 2024, within 120 days of data transmission to municipalities via the GePI platform.
Failure to comply leads to benefit suspension until reactivation after a meeting.
When does the payment get suspended? The Ministry clarifies that payments are suspended from the following month after the deadline for presentation.
For instance, the July allowance is not disbursed to those who were supposed to visit social services by June 30 (applied by March 1).
As mentioned, the suspension ends once the meeting takes place.
If the encounter occurs after the deadline but before the allowance payment (usually on the 27th of each month), the Ministry emphasizes that only data on completed encounters or presentations, received by Inps via GePI by the 20th of the following month, are processed in time for payment disbursement.
Thus, if the meeting happens beyond June 30 but is held before July 20, the payment is secure.
Otherwise, the payment resumes in the subsequent month after the platform recording date.
Beneficiaries can recover missed payments retroactively.
