Inclusion Allowance: Payment Dates for September 2024 Revealed

When Will the Inclusion Allowance Arrive in September?

Over 625,000 families benefitting from the Inclusion Allowance—often referred to as the former Citizen’s Income—are wondering when they will receive their payments in September.

Unlike other aid measures, such as the Universal Child Benefit, there is no official payment schedule for the Inclusion Allowance.
As per message number 835 from 2024, payment dates were disclosed only through July 2024, thus creating uncertainty for the latter months of the year.

Money.it reached out directly to INPS regarding this communication gap, and they informed us that they aim to establish a consistent payment schedule similar to the one used for the Citizen’s Income.

Expected Payment Dates for September 2024

For September, payments are anticipated to occur on the same days as in August.
Payments are expected between Saturday, September 14, and Monday, September 16, for those who recently completed the application phase.

Typically, initial payments happen on the 15th, but since it falls on a Sunday this year, payments might either be pushed forward or delayed to the next available day.

Additionally, families awaiting past due amounts will receive double payments; the first from September 14-16 and the second at the month’s end.

Payment Schedule Overview

For those already receiving payments, the key date remains the 27th of each month, when the current month’s amount is credited.
If the 27th falls on a Sunday, the payment usually occurs the prior Saturday, ensuring funds are accessible on time.

This September poses no such conflicts, and beneficiaries will have their funds available on the Card Adi by Friday, September 27.

Deadlines to Prevent Payment Suspension

It’s crucial for recipients to engage with social services to sustain their Inclusion Allowance benefits, initially set for 18 months.
Families must present themselves within 120 days post-signing the digital activation pact to avoid payment issues.

As clarified by the Ministry of Labor, failure to meet this requirement by the end of August risks missed September payments.
Thankfully, families still have until September 20 to complete this step, thereby avoiding fund suspension.

For those who miss the deadline but attend later, payments—including any arrears—will resume the month following their appointment.
Keep in mind that non-attendance at a scheduled meeting results in immediate benefit termination, with new applications allowed only after six months.
