Nursery bonus 2024 online, you can apply immediately

Although INPS has not yet confirmed this from its official channels, we can announce the green light for applications for the nursery bonus for the year 2024.
Just go to the INPS website, access your personal area and click on the tool dedicated to submit the application for reimbursement for the first fees incurred during this year for attendance at public and private nursery schools for children under 3 years of age.
Good news for families who have been anxiously awaiting this moment, who can finally recover part of the expenses incurred within a limit which in the best case scenario (based on the ISEE) can reach an amount of 3,600 euros per year.
What is needed for the 2024 Nursery Bonus application As anticipated, the application can be submitted directly from the INPS website, using the appropriate pre-compiled service.
For the purposes of the application it is necessary to have with you a document proving the payment of at least the first fee (for example January).
Even just one of these is fine: receipt; invoice with receipt; bank or postal payment slip; certification from the employer or nursery, of the payment of the fee or deduction from the pay slip.
The important thing is that the following information appears in the documentation: the name and VAT number of the nursery; the tax code of the minor; the reference month; payment details; the name of the parent who bears the cost of the fee.
In the absence of these documents, the application will be entered into the system but will not be sent: the status will in fact be suspended until this fundamental step is taken.
It should be remembered, however, that in the case of public nursery schools, at the time of application it is sufficient to attach the certification regarding registration.
The ISEE is not mandatory but…
Families who have not yet requested the 2024 ISEE (minors) can also request the nursery bonus, however it is not recommended to do so since in this case only the minimum amount is due.
The amount of reimbursement, in fact, depends on the economic situation of the family requesting it, as it is equal to: 3,000 euros per year (272.73 euros for 11 months) for those with an ISEE of up to 25 thousand euros; 2,500 euros per year (227.27 euros for 11 months) for those with an ISEE from 25,001 to 40,000 euros; 1,500 euros per year (136.37 euros for 11 months) in case of ISEE exceeding 40,000 euros.
The same amount is due to families who do not have an updated ISEE at the time of application.
Applying for a nursery bonus without ISEE, therefore, is not worthwhile, especially when you believe you have a certificate for an amount of less than 40,000 euros.
Increased nursery bonus in 2024 for children after the first.
We remind you that from this year, increased amounts will apply for children after the first, but only if born in 2024 or in subsequent years.
For those with an ISEE of up to 25 thousand euros, in fact, the annual reimbursement rises to 3,600 euros, 327.27 euros for 11 months.
With a higher ISEE, but still within 40,000 euros, however, the reimbursement is 3,100 euros per year, 281.81 euros for 11 months.
No change for the third band, which includes families with ISEE exceeding 40,000 euros or in any case without a valid certificate.
Who should apply and how The request can be made for all children under 3 years of age at the time of application who attend authorized public or private nursery schools.
We remind you that the new nursery bonus application must also be sent for those children who were already attending a nursery in 2023.
The request, unlike what happens for the single universal allowance, must be renewed every year.
The request process is very simple and intuitive.
Using the INPS service that you find by clicking here, and once logged in with your Spid or Cie credentials, you must complete a series of steps.
Click on the part where it says Insertion, then follow the procedure indicating: personal data of the minor; data referring to the nursery attended, including those relating to the authorization of private facilities; monthly payment for which reimbursement is requested, of which at least one must have already been paid; terms of payment.
Finally, once all the declarations of responsibility have been marked and INPS has authorized the processing of personal data, everything can be sent.
But that's not all: the application will be suspended until at least one expense document is attached (through the appropriate "attachment" function found in the menu on the left).
At this point, after having inserted the document and specified the data, you must remember to click on send so that INPS can acquire the information necessary for the investigation of the application and to proceed with the first reimbursements.
In this regard, we remind you that the refund is made only for the monthly payments that have already been paid (and with documentation attached), for which you have time until the spring of the following year to attach the documentation.
