Who wins the 2024 Basilicata regional elections? What the polls say
Who will win the 2024 Basilicata regional elections? Now that we are getting ever closer to the moment of voting – the polls will open on 21 and 22 April -, there is curiosity about the inevitable poll forecasts.
There are three candidates in the field in the regional elections in Basilicata: the outgoing centre-right president Vito Bardi, Piero Marrese for the centre-left including the 5 Star Movement and Eustachio Follia for Volt.
In addition to all the centre-right parties, Vito Bardi will also be able to count on the support of Sud Gioca Nord and two parties usually registered in the centre-left category: Italia Viva and Azione which will present their own candidates on the civic lists in support of the president.
Piero Marrese, current president of the Province of Matera, as well as his Democratic Party, will have the support of the 5 Star Movement, the Green-Left Alliance, PSI, +Europa and Basilicata Possibile.
The broad field that took place in Abruzzo, with uninspiring results, was already dismissed on the occasion of the regional elections in Basilicata, with polls that would seem to indicate Bardi as the great favorite of this vote.
