WhatsApp changes color: how to activate the beige mode of the icon

The applications on the smartphone are used numerous times a day and for this reason there are those who appreciate personalizing them, having a wallpaper of their own that is pleasant to look at and corresponds to their needs.
The latest trend seems to be the beige Whatsapp icon, which goes well with any other colors and doesn't tickle the eye as much as ordinary bright green.
Here's how to activate beige mode on Whatsapp by changing the color of the icon.
Whatsapp changes color? Lately, customizing app icons and logos has made a comeback.
The classic green shade that Whatsapp has preserved since its inception is increasingly replaced by different and unusual colors in the aesthetic screenshots shared by many users.
Among these, beige stands out, in the name of minimal aesthetic taste and neutral colors that guarantee elegance, order and maximum possibility of customization.
Despite the enormous request from users, however, Whatsapp has still never officially proposed the possibility of changing the icon or its color.
That's not to say it won't happen, given the attention to interface customization that lately characterizes the entire Meta group.
On Whastapp, for example, it is possible to choose between light and dark mode (also useful for not tiring your eyes too much at night) and indeed there could be news on this point, but no new color for the app logo.
Despite this, switching to beige mode is possible and completely safe.
How to activate the beige mode of the icon As already mentioned, to activate the beige mode of the Whatsapp icon it is not possible to rely on the settings of the official application, which for the moment does not allow it.
You must therefore use external applications, specialized in customizing the icons on the smartphone.
These apps do not interfere in the slightest with the functioning of Whatsapp (nor with the related data), but simply change the aesthetics of it on your smartphone.
Compared to older platforms, those now in circulation on the stores allow a vast choice, with an impeccable visual rendering and many ready-made icons to choose from.
Staying on the subject of the Whatsapp logo, one of the most used apps is Nova Launcher, available on most mobile device stores, which allows you to activate the infamous beige mode with extreme ease.
How to do it To change the color of the Whatsapp icon and switch to beige with Nova Launcher, simply install it for free from your store, launch it and select Whatsapp from the app drawer.
Then, simply select the beige pencil and you're done.
Alternatively, you can also change color simply by pressing and holding the Whatsapp icon and choosing it (always after installing an app for this purpose).
The same procedure obviously applies to all applications dedicated to customization, which often also allow you to choose text fonts, colors, creative backgrounds and so on.
Searching the web you can also easily find tutorials for creating customized logos, as well as many digital artists who deal with them.
The only precaution is to carefully check the application before installing it – and do so only from official sources such as the Play Store, Apple Store and – perhaps also checking the reviews of other users, the permissions required and the description of how it works.
News coming soon, new colors for the app theme It is not yet possible to have the beige Whatsapp icon without external apps, but soon it should be possible to activate the interface mode of this and other colors.
In addition to the dark and light modes, in fact, it seems that Whatsapp is adding others to improve the user experience.
The beta version 2.24.10.70 for iPhone often already contains this new feature, with choices ranging from blue, pink, purple and many other colors.
If the novelty is appreciated, it is very likely that it will be introduced in the first useful updates.
